John Wall says he understands challenges that RGIII faces on social media

Robert Griffin III caused a buzz on social media yesterday when he responded to a critic who took issue with his decision to record himself singing in the car and posting that video to Instagram.

Re-read that again, in case you really wanted to let it soak in.

Washington Wizards guard John Wall was asked on Tuesday about the world of social media and though he didn't address RG3's situation directly, he spoke about what athletes deal with in general.

"It's a part of our live that we live in," Wall said. "We know that we're competitive people and we're athletes and when you have good games, you're going to have people congratulate you and talk good about you. When you play bad, they're going to say negative things.

"But that's something that comes with the territory and it's the life we chose. I don't have nothing to say about him. I just look at it and laugh."
