Zach Wilson throws 40-yard TD pass to C.J. Uzomah for Jets

Zach is back and he has the New York Jets in the end zone.

The controversial quarterback Zach Wilson returned to the New York Jets starting lineup Sunday when Gang Green faced the Detroit Lions.

He was named starter because Mike White and his busted ribs were not cleared for duty by any doctor.

Wilson threw a touchdown pass to C.J. Uzomah that was good for 40 yards in the second quarter.

It wasn’t an easy — or safe — throw as Wilson rolled left and threw back across the field.

The PAT was good and the Jets and Lions were knotted at 7-up.
