Yes, Brook Lopez really just air-balled two free throws in a row (Video)

For a 7-foot center Brook Lopez is a pretty darn good shooter. He’s extended his range to 23-feet, and, most importantly for contextual purposes on Thursday night, he’s a 79.4 percent free-throw shooter. He’s 79.7 percent for his career.

And, uh, he air-balled two free throws in a row against the Cleveland Cavaliers:

That came minutes after he made smart, but blatantly obvious, business decision at the other end:

And minutes before he missed a dunk. He missed it badly:

Not exactly the best stretch of Lopez’s 10-year career. Not quite.
