It wasn't looking good for Florida State football late in the third quarter vs. Clemson.

No. 3 FSU had fallen behind by a touchdown with the Tigers driving again to try to get back ahead by two scores. But just when they needed it most, the Seminoles got a huge play from their defense.

With Clemson inside FSU's 30-yard line, redshirt senior Kalen DeLoach got a free run at Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik. The linebacker from Savannah, Georgia put a big hit on Klubnik, knocking the ball loose. DeLoach wound up with the ball and then took it 56 yards for the touchdown. After an extra point, Florida State was tied with Clemson 24-24 with less than a minute left in the third quarter.

Coach Dabo Swinney said during an interview before the fourth quarter that the sack happened because of a missed protection. Running back Phil Mafah went to the other side of the line before slipping out on a passing route.
