World Cup chaos continues, history on the horizon in Qatar I The Rush
Argentina overcame its rocky start at the World Cup to advance out of the group stage after a 2-0 victory over Poland. In a competitive Group C, Mexico failed to advance to the knockout stage for the first time since 1978. History will be made in Qatar as an all-female officiating crew will take the field for the Germany vs. Costa Rica match and Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly being offered a historically large contract. Plus, the Boston Celtics sidelines were graced by royalty… quite literally, as Prince William and Princess Kate of Wales sat courtside at the TD Garden, taking in the Celtics’ win over the Miami Heat.

JARED QUAY: After being on the wrong side of one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history earlier in the tournament, Messi and Argentina rebounded and are through to the knockout stage.
- Thank God, crisis averted.
JARED QUAY: Argentina and Poland advanced out of group C, booting Saudi Arabia and most shockingly, Mexico out of the tourney. It's the first time Mexico failed to advance out of the group stage since 1978.

JARED QUAY: Group C winner Argentina will take on Australia on Saturday. But first, we'll witness some history.

JARED QUAY: In today's Germany versus Costa Rica game, an all-female refereeing crew will oversee a men's World Cup match for the first time ever.

JARED QUAY: Ever. And it's about time. Meanwhile, a different kind of soccer history is in the works as Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly [INAUDIBLE] quite a job offer. Rumors are swirling that Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr is offering [? Cristi ?] a 3 and 1/2 year contract worth a record shattering $119 million per year.
