Wisconsin to play road game against Marquette in December

On Thursday, Wisconsin’s announced its in-state rivalry with Marquette that dates back to 1917 is back on for the 2022-23 season.

On December 3, UW will make the annual 75-mile drive down I-94 to play the Golden Eagles at Fiserv Forum, which opened in 2018.

UW defeated Marquette 89-76 in their most recent meeting at the Kohl Center last season. It’s also worth noting both UW and Marquette made appearances in the NCAA Tournament in 2021-22.

Wisconsin’s two most historic college basketball programs have met 128 times, with the Badgers holding a 69-59 advantage over their little brother.
