Wisconsin basketball lands SG Connor Essegian, their first 2022 commitment

This afternoon, Wisconsin basketball landed their first commitment in the 2022 class. SG Connor Essegian chose the Badgers over the likes of Wake Forest, Minnesota, and Creighton among others.

Essegian is an Indiana native who attends Central Noble High School in Albion, Indiana. He is seen as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, and is expected to be a shooting guard in college. Essegian is known as a sharpshooter, hitting over 40% of his threes this past season as a junior.

Essegian took an official visit to Wisconsin during the weekend of September 3, and his commitment followed shortly there after. The Badgers will now look to fill out their 2022 class after adding their first piece.
