Willie Anderson, former Cincinnati Bengals OT, not elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame
Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive tackle Willie Anderson is not among the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024, which included Dwight Freeney, Andre Johnson, Randy Gradishar, Patrick Willis, Steve McMichael, Devin Hester and Julius Peppers.
Anderson, a Bengal from 1996 to 2007 who finished his career with the Baltimore Ravens, was one of 15 modern-era finalists for this year's class. Modern-era players required a minimum positive vote of 80 percent.
Anderson has been a finalist each of the past three years, and a semifinalist for four consecutive years.
The class was announced during the NFL Honors ceremony Thursday night in Las Vegas.
Reaction via Twitter from Anderson:

In 2022, Anderson was inducted into the Bengals' Ring of Honor. Later that year, Anderson received support for his Pro Football Hall of Fame candidacy from Michael Strahan, Bill Cowher, Cris Collinsworth and Mike Brown in a YouTube video posted by former Bengals offensive line coach Paul Alexander.
