STEVE ALEXANDER: Hey, it's Dr. A from RotoWorld. Let's talk about De'Anthony Melton for a moment. The Sixers just took a tough blow-- James Harden, right foot sprain, out for at least a month. Who's to fill in, you ask? Well, that's De'Anthony Melton.
Melton, on Friday night, only hit four of 18 shots. He was three of 11 from downtown. Not great. But his stat line-- 12 points, five boards, nine assists, two steals, two blocks. Yeah, he did have three turnovers, but he's playing minutes. He's going to get all of James Harden's minutes. He's going to be a stud. He was already worth rostering in fantasy leagues before this James Harden injury happened. Melton was averaging 9.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.4 threes. He was shooting over 51% from the floor, almost 52%. He's a great free throw shooter. He hasn't missed one this year.
