MATT HARMON: Let's talk about one thing I care about and one thing I don't care about coming out of week eight Sunday slate. The thing I care about is that the Dallas Cowboys offense correctly revolved around their best player, CeeDee Lamb. Look, sometimes I think we take the, just throw to your good player stuff a little too far here on the outside. I don't think that criticism of the Cowboys offense to start this season was off base. I think it was correct.

And I think the last two games for Dallas have proven that. I don't think it was a coincidence that the Cowboys enjoyed probably their biggest win of the season over the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night going into their bye. And then coming out of their bye, I mean, CeeDee Lamb just absolutely goes off against the Los Angeles Rams, catching 12 passes on 14 targets for 158 yards and two scores.

And honestly, it felt like more, watching this game wire to wire. That was probably because of the huge gap between himself and any other Cowboys pass catcher. I mean, this guy was unbelievable. They have some good complementary players there in Dallas, but they have an elite player that they need to build the entire operation around. And CeeDee Lamb, I think as long as they continue to do that, I think as long as he continues to be used and treated like the featured elite piece that he is, I think the Cowboys offense can continue to thrive the rest of the season.

Now the thing I don't care about I don't care about first half of the season Joe Burrow anymore, because I think that guy is officially a thing of the past. And look, we were all right to be concerned about what we saw from Joe Burrow to start this year. That was the correct analysis because the product that was out there on the field was not good.

However, I think we've seen more and more evidence stacking up that Joe Burrow has turned a corner. 8.8 yards per attempt and three touchdowns against the vaunted 49ers defense. I think Joe Burrow and the electric Bengals offense is officially back in our lives. We don't have to talk about the guy we saw to start this year anymore.
