Where Quinn Ewers, Arch Manning land in 247Sports’ highest-rated QB’s of all time

Steve Sarkisian has suddenly turned Texas into one of the premier destinations for some of the most talented quarterbacks in the country.

With the addition of five-star quarterback Quinn Ewers via the transfer portal, along with the verbal commitment of five-star quarterback Arch Manning, the Longhorns have landed the only three perfectly rated quarterbacks of all time.

You can never have too much talent on your roster, and the Ewers to Manning handoff in 2024 is planning out nicely for Texas. Manning is expected to redshirt his freshman season prior to taking over as the quarterback of the future. Ewers will likely play two seasons in Austin before declaring for the NFL draft.

Former Texas star Vince Young was the only other perfectly rated quarterback. We all witnessed the success Young had at the collegiate level and that’s certainly something Ewers and Manning are hoping to bring back to Texas.
