When, where these 5 District 10 football teams will play in the PIAA quarterfinals
The PIAA football playoffs continue this weekend with five quarterfinal games involving District 10 teams. All five games are scheduled for Friday night at 7 p.m. at various home fields.
In Class 1A, Cambridge Springs gets the chance to host District 9 champion Redbank Valley. Cambridge Springs, however, does not have a turf field, so the game will be played at Meadville High School.
Farrell will host Westinghouse out of the Pittsburgh City League after holding off Mercyhurst Prep for the D-10 Class 2A title. In Class 3A, D-10 champ Hickory heads to Altoona to take on District 6 champion Martinsburg Central at Mansion Park.
While D-10 has no teams left in Class 4A, WPIAL Class 5A champion Peters Township travels to Dollinger Field to play Cathedral Prep and WPIAL Class 6A champion North Allegheny hosts McDowell in a rematch from earlier this season. North Allegheny won 43-22 on Sept. 9.
