West Vigo tops Cloverdale in boys basketball
Feb. 14—A trio of double-figure scorers led West Vigo to a 69-28 victory over visiting Cloverdale in boys high school basketball Tuesday night in the Vikings' Jim Mann Green Dome.
West Vigo guard Talan Boehler led all scorers with 22 points, including six 3-pointers. Vikings guard Zeke Tanoos added 18 points and forward Garrett Pugh tallied 10.
The Vikings (now 10-11) led 21-12, 34-18 and 55-23 at the quarter breaks.
Trey Schabel and Eli Kelley topped Cloverdale with seven points each. Tre Henderson hit two 3-pointers for the Clovers (1-20).
West Vigo plays host to North Central at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Cloverdale plays host to Sullivan at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
