NICK BROMBERG: Welcome to Yahoo Sportsbook Daily. It is Wednesday, October 20, 2021. And I'm your betting guide, Nick Bromberg. Let's go ahead and look ahead at week eight of the 2021 College Football Season.

This is a bit of an odd week, there are no games between ranked opponents as a lot of teams are taking this weekend off. We're going to get started with number 16, Wake Forest at Army noon, Eastern on CBS Sports Network. Wake is the only undefeated team left in the ACC.

They're favored by just three points. The total in this game is 52. Wake is getting 80% of the bets, and 70% of the money. Demon Deacons just 2 and 4 against the Spread. Army is 3 and 3. Army kept it close against Wisconsin in week seven. I think the under's the right play here. It seems pretty high.

Under 52 as Army tries to slow the game down as much as possible. Next up, we've got Clemson at number 23 Pitt, 3:30 PM Eastern on ESPN. Clemson is an underdog. Pitt is favored by 3 and 1/2 points. The over-under has moved up to 48 and 1/2. Will this be the week that Clemson covers the Spread?

Tigers now 0-6 against the Spread, after that win at Syracuse. 1 in 5 on over-under, just one Clemson game has gone over this year. Pitt, 5 and 1 against the Spread, and 5 of the 6 games for the Panthers have gone over 60% of bets. 90% of money is on Pitt. People do not like Clemson to cover this game.

I am scared of Clemson and the point Spread right now. I'm going with the under 48 and 1/2, Pat Narduzzi versus Brent Venables. I think this is going to be a low scoring game. Number 10, Oregon heads the UCLA, 3:30 PM Eastern on ABC. UCLA has been bet down to a two point favorite.

Over-under has crept up to 60 in this game. Oregon is 1 in 5 against the Spread. UCLA is 5 and 2. 40% of bets but 80% of the money is on UCLA. The Sharps are favoring the Bruins so far. I'm sticking with yet another total in this game, under 60.

I do not trust the Oregon offense right now to put up a bunch of points. I like UCLA to win this game straight up, but I think it's with a point total under 60. Number 8, Oklahoma State heads to Iowa State at 3:30 PM on Fox. The Cowboys are undefeated yet they are 7 point underdogs in Ames.

The over under is a lowly 47 here. 80% of the bets, 60% of the money on Oklahoma State. Cowboys are 4 and 2 against the Spread but have gone over just once so far in 6 games. I think it goes twice, over 47. Iowa State's offense looked great against Kansas State last week.

I think there's enough points in this game to barely hit the over. And finally, we've got USC traveling for its annual rivalry game. At number 13, Notre Dame 7:30 PM Eastern on NBC. Notre Dame is favored by 7, over under here's 58 and 1/2, 90% of the bets, 70% of the money is on the Irish.

Both teams here are 3 and 3 against the Spread, and 4 and 2 on the over. Thus so far this season, I like the under. Under 58, I don't trust Notre Dame's offense. Just like Oregon, I don't know if Notre Dame puts up enough points, even though they win this football game straight up.

And since it's Wednesday, we're back to some European soccer. We've got the Champions League on Wednesday afternoon. We've got two bets for you. I think Juventus, which heads to Zenit, St Petersburg will win straight up. You can get Uv-a at plus 120.

And another European Giants in action, Manchester United hosts Atalanta. I think Man U loses this game. They are in terrible form right now. You can get Atalanta at plus 360. Go with the underdogs to win this game.

So to recap, for today take Uv-a on the road, and take Atalanta on the road. For Saturday, go with under 52 in Wake Forest trip to Army. Go with under 48 and 1/2 in Clemson and Pitt, go with under 60 in Oregon at UCLA. Over 47 in Oklahoma State's trip to Iowa State. And yet another under, under 50 8 and 1/2 in USC's game at Notre Dame.
