Week 4 Fantasy Football Bad Beats: No more knee-gative yardage!

Was your fantasy team caught up in the crosshairs of the latest Monday night kneel-down debacle?

Well, we here at Yahoo Fantasy are here for you, yet again, and always. We want to know all about it (so we can laugh at you) so we can help you get through it. Judge Andy Behrens can assist you through these troubled times, in Week 4 and every week of the 2021 fantasy football season.

Like a bad movie sequel that no one was clamoring for, a brand new group of fantasy managers were subjected to yet another kneel-down nightmare - this time courtesy of Justin Herbert - that led to a loss. Absolutely awful!

And as if the negative yardage kneel-downs didn't irk our host enough, this week’s Honorable Mention goes to Andy himself - who lost to an opponent that started two injured players. In an EXPERTS LEAGUE, no less!

Did you suffer a Bad Beat? You're not alone! Hit us up and tell us all about it using #FFLBadBeats.

ANDY BEHRENS: Oh, yeah, it's that time again. We're back with the segment in which you absolutely, positively do not want to appear. This is where we review--

[BUZZER]

--the most heartbreaking, agonizing, gutting fantasy losses from the week. This is Fantasy Bad Beat.

Let me tell you, the culprit this week, it's the same one as week 3. It's terrible. It's the Monday night kneel down that got us again. This time it was Justin Herbert taking two knees in victory formation at the end of the Chargers win, and it really got to the people.

I'm looking at you, [? Catslod, ?] and you, Grant, and you Johnny and Tom and Bo and Paul.

[BUZZER]

Oh, that was a whole romper room thing right there. It got to the people. Those lost yards cost people fantasy victories that they had already secured.

So I am imploring-- I want to use this opportunity to just implore Commissioner Goodell or the stats providers perhaps could do something here where they count these knees for no gain instead of minus 1 rushing yards, or NFL head coaches could just insert backup quarterbacks to take these knees. Do we really need Justin Herbert risking his health to take these knees? Or perhaps they could just go the route that the Ravens did this week and try to pick up positive yards on the final play of the game. Or, again, our commissioner could step in and say we waive victory formation. You can just bypass it and just go ahead and take the win.

In fact, I am-- let me use all of my legal authority here, and I am going to order-- order an end to these stupid knees that are causing fantasy defeats. It's no good. We can't have it. We can't have it. At the very least, teams, coaches, give us the backup quarterbacks.

Our dishonorable mention this week, it's going to go to me. I lost in an experts league-- an experts league-- in which my opponents--

[GROAN]

[SAD TROMBONE]

--started both Julio Jones and James White. That's a couple of zeros. So I don't know if he should lose his experts accreditation because he's starting people that aren't actually playing or if I should lose my experts accreditation because somehow I still lost to him. Either way, brutally painful.

I don't want to show up in this segment. You certainly don't want to show up in this segment. But if something happens next week where you think maybe you qualify, hey, hit us up. Use the hashtag #FFLBadBeats.
