WATCH: Washington quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has cicada in his beard
Washington Football Team quarterback continues to own Twitter this week. Yesterday, Fitzpatrick’s “back-to-school” pic was hilarious as Washington opened up the team’s mandatory minicamp.
On Wednesday, Fitzpatrick added to his ever-growing legend with another epic moment. After Washington’s practice, Fitzpatrick went up to the camera with a cicada in his beard with a massive smile on his face.
Enjoy.

Cicadas are the oversized insects who come along every 13 or 17 years — depending on the species and location — and have made quite the presence in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region so far this year.
When was the last time Washington had a player this fun? Let alone a quarterback?
Yes, Fitzpatrick will throw interceptions in 2021, but there are plenty of reasons to be hopeful. He seemingly improves each season and now joins a talented team that improved in the offseason.
Not only will Fitzpatrick try and lead Washington to another NFC East title, but he’ll have some fun along the way.
