Watch: Warriors’ Jordan Poole finishes acrobatic layup in preseason vs. Lakers

While preseason basketball can help bring levels of excitement before the start of the regular season, it’s rarely appointment viewing.

However, when Jordan Poole has been on the floor for the Golden State Warriors in the 2021 preseason, the games have been a must-watch event.

After torching the Los Angeles Lakers with a barrage of 3-pointers on Friday’s contest, the third-year guard went right back to work in a preseason rematch on Tuesday.

With Steph Curry ruled out for a rest day on Tuesday, Poole had the keys to Steve Kerr’s offense.

The guard recorded a flurry of highlight-reel plays, including a must-see acrobatic layup. Poole weaved through the Lakers’ defense before gliding to the bucket for a slick finish past LeBron James.

In Golden State’s 111-99 win over Los Angeles, Poole notched a team-high 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor with five rebounds, four assists and a steal in 19 minutes.

Poole and the Warriors will be back on the floor for the preseason finale against the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night at Chase Center in San Francisco.
