The Denver Broncos will visit the Arizona Cardinals for their fourth and final preseason game before they welcome the Carolina Panthers to the Mile High City in a week’s time. With Trevor Siemian named the starter, there’s plenty of intrigue as to what we’ll see.

Paxton Lynch will get the reps tonight, so keep a close eye out on him. Siemian is anything but a proven quarterback. Lynch could very well become this team’s starter at some point in 2016 if Siemian isn’t panning out. Now that the Broncos have their starter, they need to see what their backup can do.

Also, keep an eye out on the ground game. Ronnie Hillman outplayed C.J. Anderson for large portions of last season, and you have to think that Gary Kubiak would like to roll more frequently with one of the two, not both.

The offensive line has been a mess in preseason, despite bringing in four new starters that includes Russell Okung. They have one more chance to get their act together before they face Carolina’s monstrous pass-rush that nearly did enough to single-handedly win them Super Bowl 50.

One final thing to look for is Cody Latimer. He’s emerged as the team’s best pass-catcher in preseason, and it’s a make-or-break year for the 2014 second-round selection. Denver needs a reliable catcher outside of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. Latimer will be given every shot to earn targets and find a bigger role.

Go Broncos!
