Duke baseball takes on No. 7 Virginia today in the opener of a best-of-three Charlottesville Super Regional that will decide which team advances to the College World Series.

The Cavaliers (48-12) rolled through their home regional, going 3-0 with a win over Army and back-to-back victories against East Carolina.

Duke fell to host Coastal Carolina in the Conway Regional before bouncing back to claim the winner-take-all game and reach the third super regional in program history. The Blue Devils (38-22) also defeated UNC Wilmington and Rider in the regional round.

The Wahoos and Devils played three times this season, with Duke winning the late-April series 2-1 at Disharoon Park in Charlottesville by scores of 17-5, 2-10 and 7-3.

Duke's MJ Metz was named All-Conway Regional Most Outstanding Player after going 8-for-18 (.444) with four home runs, four runs scored and eight RBIs in the Blue Devils' 3-1 run.
