WATCH: Bulls unveiled 2023-24 schedule with Pokémon-inspired hype video

The 2023-24 regular season schedule for the Chicago Bulls has been released. Chicago will tip things off with a game at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder and will end the year on the road to play the New York Knicks. In between, there will be all sorts of exciting tilts and compelling matchups. To celebrate the newly released game calendar, the Bulls released a Pokémon-inspired hype video to debut the team’s official schedule.

The video in question features Chicago’s mascot Benny the Bull entering a gym, animated in a similar style to the earliest Pokémon Nintendo Gameboy games. Benny faces off with stylized versions of Victor Wembanyama, LeBron James, and others, calling upon DeMar DeRozan and others to vanquish his foes. Complete with a 8-bit style musical score, it’s a clever and endearing video to accompanying the regular season schedule release.
