Want to see the solar eclipse at Yankee Stadium? Here's how to get tickets that day

The Yankees begin the 2024 season on March 28 with a seven-game road trip against the Houston Astros and reigning National League champion Arizona Diamondbacks.

The home opener is slated for April 5 against their AL East counterparts in the Toronto Blue Jays. However, that won't be the main storyline from the Bronx during their six-game homestand.

The focal point comes in the series opener on Monday, April 8 against the Miami Marlins when the 46,000-plus fans on hand should be able to view a partial solar eclipse.

When is the optimal time to see solar eclipse on April 8 at Yankee Stadium?

With the Yankees-Marlins matchup being a day game, it'll be a perfect opportunity for the stadium to see the partial solar eclipse in the Bronx.

Fans will have to wait about an hour after the 2:05 p.m. first pitch as the ideal viewing time for the area will be roughly around 3:15 p.m. or so, according to NASA.

This will be the last time a solar eclipse will be viewable in the United States for two decades with the next one not being until 2044.
