Vote for the Storm Works Roofing Playoff Athlete of the Week for Nov. 6-11

Dartmouth’s Luke Bloom-Glover was voted the Storm Works & Roofing High School Boys Athlete of the Week for Oct. 28-Nov. 5. He received more than 76% of the vote to earn the honor.

Previous boys winners were Apponequet's Dom Snyder and Josh Snyder, Dartmouth's Nicolas Silvia and Tom Moreira, GNB Voc-Tech’s Reinaldo Trinidad and Bishop Stang’s Donovan Boyle and Spencer Menard.

GNB Voc-Tech’s Morgan Teves was voted the Storm Works & Roofing High School Girls Athlete of the Week for Oct. 28-Nov. 5. She received more than 61% of the vote to earn the honor.

Previous girls winners were Bishop Stang’s Izzy Feeney, New Bedford’s Caitlin Almeida, Fairhaven’s Madison Lewis, GNB Voc-Tech’s Kendra Santiago, Old Colony’s McKenna Benoit and Apponequet’s Hailey Desmarais and Jaida Beaulieu.

Samantha Souza, Dartmouth

Souza scored three goals for Dartmouth in a pair of playoff games.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Hailey Desmarais, Apponequet

Desmarais took third at the Div. 2C championship meet to power the Lakers to a berth at All-States with a fifth-place finish.

Hannah Kuriscak, Apponequet

Kuriscak ran a 21:01.1 to help the Lakers punch a ticket to All-States by finishing fifth at the Div. 2C championship meet.

Emily Abbott, Old Rochester

Abbott ran a personal-best 20:56.3 to place 24th at the Div. 2C championship meet to help the Bulldogs finish fourth as a team and qualify for All-States.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Lowell Copps, Bishop Stang

Copps came in seventh (16:18) at the Div. 2C championship meet to qualify for All-States.

Aidan Silk, Old Rochester

Silk took 11th place (16.58.0) at the Div. 2C championship meet.

Tyler Young, Old Rochester

Young came in fifth place at the Div. 2C championship meet with a time of 16:11.6 to pace the Bulldogs to a sixth-place finish as a team.

BOYS SOCCER

Carter Bates, Dartmouth

Bates had five saves for Dartmouth in a 3-0 loss to Westborough in the Div. 2 Round of 32.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Brooke Davis, Dartmouth

In a 3-1 loss to Oliver Ames, Davis had 10 kills and 17 digs.

Haley Jenkins, Dartmouth

Jenkins had a team-high 15 kills to go along with three service aces in a playoff loss to Oliver Ames.

Alaina Strozik, Dartmouth

Against O-A, Strozik had 39 assists and 11 digs.

Caroline Brogioli, Old Rochester

Brogioli had a team-high 30 digs for ORR in a playoff win over D-Y.

Aubrie Letourneau, Old Rochester

In a 3-2 win over Dennis-Yarmouth, Letourneau had 48 assists, 23 service points, four aces, five kills and 15 digs.

Kam Rodrigues, Old Rochester

Rodrigues had a team-high 15 kills against Dennis-Yarmouth.
