Vote for the Storm Works Roofing H.S. Girls Athlete of the Week for Sept. 30-Oct. 6

Fairhaven’s Madison Lewis was voted the Storm Works & Roofing High School Girls Athlete of the Week for Sept. 23-29. She received more than 7,500 votes (54%) to earn the honor.

Lewis had two goals and one assist as the Blue Devils beat Southeastern for their first win of the season.

Previous winners were GNB Voc-Tech’s Kendra Santiago, Old Colony’s McKenna Benoit and Apponequet’s Jaida Beaulieu.

Alison Arruda, Apponequet

In two games, Arruda had a combined 47 saves for the Lakers.

Julia Caron, Bishop Stang

Caron had a combined 44 saves in a pair of losses to Bishop Feehan and Somerset Berkley.

Grace Haskell, Dartmouth

In three games, Haskell had a combined six goals and two assists to power undefeated Dartmouth.

Samantha Souza, Dartmouth

Souza recorded a hat trick for Dartmouth in a win over Middleboro and added two goals against North Attleboro.

Reilly Patraiko, Old Rochester

Patraiko had a combined 17 saves in a pair of games against Durfee and Dighton-Rehoboth.

Zoey Cardinal, Wareham

Cardinal made seven saves in a loss to Sturgis East.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

Hailey Desmarais, Apponequet

Desmarais took first in 19:47 in a pair of wins over West Bridgewater and Bourne.

Nevaeh Escobar, GNB Voc-Tech

Escobar took first in meets against Somerset Berkley and Dighton-Rehoboth.

Lena Morris, New Bedford

Morris ran a first-place time of 20:58 to power New Bedford to a win over Durfee. She also took 15th (12:23) out of 168 in the junior/senior 3K at the Frank Kelley Invitational.

Alexia Gonsalves, Old Rochester

Gonsalves took first (18:24) in a pair of wins over Seekonk and Fairhaven.

Morgan Hayward, Apponequet

Hayward had a combined five goals and one assist in three games for the unbeaten Lakers.

CeCe Levrault, Apponequet

In three games, Levrault had a combined four goals and two assists, including a hat trick against Dartmouth.

Izzie Bromage, Bishop Stang

Bromage had Stang’s lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Dartmouth. She also had two goals in a tie with Cohasset.

Lidsey Kline, Dartmouth

Kline had a combined 26 saves in two games for Dartmouth.

Emily Antao, GNB Voc-Tech

Antao had two goals for the Bears in a 2-1 win over Somerset Berkley.

Caitlin Almeida, New Bedford

Almeida scored the Whalers’ lone goal in a 2-1 loss to Diman.

Aubrey Thomas, Old Rochester

Thomas had three goals and one assist as the Bulldogs beat Bourne 5-0.

Kohana Fontinha, Apponequet

In three games, Fontinha had a combined 22 kills, 12 digs and 35 assists.

Lilly Surprenant, Bishop Stang

Surprenant had 20 assists and three aces for the Spartans.

Haley Jenkins, Dartmouth

Jenkins had a combined 18 kills in a pair of games for Dartmouth.

Kyla Martin, Dartmouth

Martin served up nine aces and 14 points for Dartmouth in a sweep of Bridgewater-Raynham.

Ava Bissonnette, Fairhaven

Bissonnette had a combined 19 kills, eight assists and seven assists in three matches.

Kiana Coppa, Fairhaven

In two games, Coppa had a combined 24 kills to lead the Blue Devils.

Elle McCormack, GNB Voc-Tech

In two games, McCormack had a combined 43 assists. She also had five aces against Fairhaven.

Layna Ross, GNB Voc-Tech

Ross had a combined 22 kills in a pair of games for the Bears.

Kelly Quin, Old Colony

In two matches,Quin had a combined 11 kills, three aces and two digs for the Cougars.

Aubrie Letourneau, Old Rochester

Letourneau had a combined 50 assists in two games for ORR. She also had 13 digs and six aces against Bourne.

Evelyn Francis, Wareham

In two games, Francis had a combined 25 kills, nine aces and 31 digs to power the Vikings.
