Vote for the SouthCoast High School Girls Athlete of the 2024 playoffs

The 2024 winter playoffs are officially over for Massachusetts high school sports.

A pair of SouthCoast girls basketball teams — Apponequet and Dartmouth — made it to the Sweet 16 of their respective divisions while a local female track athlete had a top showing at the New England championship.

Here’s your chance to vote for the top postseason performance among SouthCoast female athletes.

(Editor's Note: Voting will end at 8 p.m. on Sunday)

BASKETBALL

Hannah Kuriscak, Apponequet

Kuriscak averaged 9 points in a pair of playoff games. She also had three assists and four steals against Arlington Catholic.

Cece Levrault, Apponequet

Levrault had a combined 21 points and nine rebounds in a pair of playoff games for Apponequet.

Addison Taylor, Apponequet

In two playoff games, Taylor scored a combined 37 points, including 22 against St. Mary’s.

Remy Barber, Dartmouth

Barber averaged 10 points in a pair of playoff games for Dartmouth.

Kat Cheesebro, Dartmouth

In two playoff games, Cheesbro had a combined 53 points, including a game-high 35 against Shepherd Hill Regional.

Kaelyn Zuber, Dartmouth

In a playoff win over Shepherd Hill Regional, Zuber had 14 points.

Emerson Gonet, Old Rochester

Gonet scored a team-high 11 points for Old Rochester in a Div. 3 Round of 32 loss to Watertown.

Jordyn Elwood, Wareham

Elwood scored 10 points in Wareham’s loss to Saint Bernard’s in the Div. 4 playoffs.

Johnny Tompkins, Wareham

Tompkins led Wareham in its playoff loss to Saint Bernard’s with 11 points.

GIRLS TRACK

Morgan Hayward, Apponequet

Hayward took third in the 600 with a school-record time of 1:35.72 at New Englands.

GIRLS HOCKEY

Isabelle Duarte, Bishop Stang

Duarte made 34 saves in a Div. 1 Round of 32 playoff loss to Shrewsbury.
