Vote for the SouthCoast High School Girls Athlete of the Week for April 8-14
The winner of last week’s Girls Athlete of the Week poll was Old Rochester’s Neva Matos. She had more than 1,000 votes (86%) to receive the honor. She won her first singles match against Dartmouth 6-0, 6-0.
The winner of the Preseason Girls Lacrosse Player of the Year poll was Old Colony’s Logan Crook with more than 2,500 votes (40%). Old Colony’s Lauren Lebeau was second followed by Fairhaven’s Carlie Francis and GNB Voc-Tech’s Casalice Dias.

GIRLS LACROSSE
Abby Bradley, Apponequet
Bradley had a combined six goals and seven assists in two games for Apponequet.
Cece Levrault, Apponequet
In a pair of games, Levreault had a combined 15 goals, including nine against Dighton-Rehoboth.
Sofie Doucet, Bishop Stang
Doucet had a combined nine goals in a pair of games for Bishop Stang.
Grace Haskell, Dartmouth
In three games, Haskell had a combined 14 goals and five assists.
Kayla McGee, Dartmouth
McGee had a combined eight goals and six assists in three games for Dartmouth.
Sophia Fleurent, Fairhaven
Fleurent had a combined eight goals and four assists in three games.
Carlie Francis, Fairhaven
In three games, Francis had nine goals and one assist.
Madi Lewis, Fairhaven
Lewis scored a team-high five goals in a win over Bourne.
Zaria Anderson, New Bedford
Anderson had a team-high two goals against Dartmouth.
Abby Pitts, Old Colony
In two games, Pitts had a combined 11 goals.
Caroline Brogioli, Old Rochester
In two games, Brogioli had a combined six goals and four assists. She recorded her 100th career goal against GNB Voc-Tech.
Kelly Quinlan, Old Rochester
Quinlan had a combined eight goals and one assist in two games for ORR.
GIRLS TRACK
Morgan Hayward, Apponequet
Against Old Rochester, Hayward took first in the 400 meters, 400 hurdles and high jump and came in second in the long jump.
Orianna Hernandez, Apponequet
Hernandez won the triple jump and long jump against ORR.
Haley Zexter, Dartmouth
Zexter won the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles against Bridgewater-Raynham.
Sienna Cabe, Wareham
Cabe won the high jump, long jump and triple jump against Bristol-Plymouth.

GIRLS TENNIS
Kohana Fontinha, Apponequet
Fontinha captured first singles wins against Somerset Berkley and East Bridgewater.
Lexy Wynn, Bishop Stang
Wynn won both of her first singles matches against Dartmouth and Bishop Fenwick.
Elizabeth DaCunha, Fairhaven
DaCunha won her first singles match against Dighton-Rehoboth.
Emma Gibney, New Bedford
Gibney won her first singles match against Durfee.
Neva Matos, Old Rochester
Matos captured a 6-0, 6-0 in her first singles match against West Bridgewater.
Brooklyn Bindas, Wareham
Bindas won her first singles matches against Westport and Carver with scores of 6-0, 6-0.
