Vote now for girls and boys Seacoast high school Athletes of the Week for Oct. 9-14

Welcome to the seventh installment of the Seacoast high school Athletes of the Week for the 2023 fall season, presented by York County Community College.

This week, and in weeks to come, you can vote for a girls athlete of the week and a boys athlete of the week.

This week's poll is outstanding athletic accomplishments during the week of Oct. 9-14.

How do I cast my vote?

Voting can be completed through the two ballots listed below. Voting closes at midnight Thursday, Oct. 19.

How do we learn who wins?

Winners will be announced in a story published on Friday, Oct. 20 at seacoastonline.com and fosters.com.

May I nominate for future ballots?

Yes. Nominate a Seacoast high school athlete by sending an email to sports@seacoastonline.com. Feel free to send us a photo of the athlete, too.

BOYS ATHLETE OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Shea Harrison, Portsmouth, golf

Portsmouth High School's Shea Harrison finished third in the D II State Individual Tournament on Saturday.
Portsmouth High School's Shea Harrison finished third in the D II State Individual Tournament on Saturday.

Harrison, with a score of 36, finished third in the NHIAA state individual tournament this past Saturday in Division II. With the performance, Harrison qualified to play in the New England High School Individual Tournament at Mohegan Sun on Oct. 30.

Limric scored two goals in the Bobcats' 3-2 win over Coe Brown in last Tuesday's rivalry clash.

Cam Dubois, Somersworth, football

Dubois made his return back to the football field for Somersworth and his impact on the offensive line was immediately felt. Dubois, and the rest of the offensive line, created numerous holes for running backs to run through, for a total of 391 yards in just over two quarters in Friday night's 41-6 win over Bishop Brady.

Angus Forman, St. Thomas Aquinas, soccer

St. Thomas Aquinas' Angus Forman heads the ball toward teammate William Hughes during Thursday's Division III boys soccer match against Berlin.
St. Thomas Aquinas' Angus Forman heads the ball toward teammate William Hughes during Thursday's Division III boys soccer match against Berlin.

Forman scored two goals for the Saints in a 6-1 win over Berlin last Thursday.

Orrin Culp-Dechant, Marshwood, soccer

Culp-Dechant, a goalkeeper, had six saves for the Hawks in a 2-1 win over Thornton Academy last Thursday.

GIRLS ATHLETE OF WEEK NOMIEES

Amber Morgado, Winnacunnet, field hockey

Winnacunnet High School's Amber Morgado

Morgado, sophomore, collected 15 saves in the Warriors' 2-1 win over Keene last Friday.

Tory Vitko, Dover, volleyball

Vitko had 16 kills and 13 assists to lead the Green Wave to a 3-1 win over Exeter last Friday.

Grace Clayton, York, soccer

Clayton scored the game-winning goal as the Wildcats defeated Greely, 2-1 last Monday in a Class B South game.

Jadynn Rajda, Newmarket, soccer

Rajda had two goals to lead the Mules to a 6-1 win over Pittsfield last Wednesday.

Reese McCauley, Portsmouth, field hockey

McCauley recorded seven saves in net for Portsmouth in last week' 1-0 win over Kingswood.
