Vote for Mississippi boys high school athlete of the week Nov. 27-Dec. 2

There were several top performers across the state in boys high school sports, but only one can be voted athlete of the week for Nov. 27-Dec 2.

Fans may vote in the poll below one time per hour per device. The poll closes at noon on Friday.

Nominations

Kahnen Daniels, West Point: Daniels recorded 253 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in West Point's 35-7 MHSAA 5A state title win over Laurel.

Gavin Griffin, Velma Jackson: Griffin produced 316 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns on 28 carries in Velma Jackson's MHSAA 1A state title 53-49 loss to Biggersville.

Devon Olive, Charleston: Olive produced 207 passing yards with three touchdowns on 13 of 18 completions in Charleston's 26-22 MHSAA 2A state title win over Heidelberg.

Chase Richardson, Winona: Richardson produced 135 passing yards, 294 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns on 28 carries in Winona's 34-27 first MHSAA 3A state title win over Noxubee County.

Drew Rowsey, Biggersville: Rousey recorded 373 passing yards on 21 completions for six passing touchdowns in Biggersville's 53-49 first MHSAA's 1A state title win.

Kedrick Simmons, Booneville: Simmons produced a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds in Booneville's 69-47 win over Madison Central.
