Highland's baseball team collected a sixth straight league championship to highlight the Marion-area's spring sports regular seasons coming to a close. Earlier, Ridgedale's softball team won its first conference title since 1999, winning the program's first in the Northwest Central Conference.

The Rockets, along with Pleasant, Cardington and Northmor, all qualified for this week's district softball tournaments, while baseball teams will play sectionals this week.

For track and field, the league meets are finished and now the attention turns to the postseason where everyone will be vying for the top four in every district meet event to qualify for the following week's regionals.

The boys tennis season is complete for everyone but the Marion Harding brother tandem of Alexander and Sebastian Lisiecki who qualified for this week's Division I district tournament in doubles.
