It is time again to vote for the DC Roofing 321preps Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.

The following athletes were nominated for their performances from Oct. 30-Nov. 4. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday this week.

Please respect the integrity of the ballot. Restrict your voting to once an hour.

Last week's winner was Lucas Brown of Viera swimming. Find a list of the 2023-24 winners at the bottom.

Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to bmccallum@floridatoday.com by 10 a.m. each Monday.

Here are this week's nominees:

Grace Carter, Brevard Heat golf

Carter shot 69 for 18 holes at Cocoa Beach Country Club, winning medalist honors for the Region 2-1A tournament.

Bradyn Cook, Palm Bay football

Cook scored three rushing touchdowns while gaining 95 yards on Friday as the Pirates won their seventh.

Sadie Dempz, Viera diving

Dempz won the Region 4-3A diving meet championship with a score of 436.80.

Addison Elwell, Viera cross country

Elwell won the District 5-4A cross country girls title with a 18:30.1 time for the 5,000-meter race.

Bode Handwork, Merritt Island Christian football

Handwork recorded a team-high six tackles, threw a pair of touchdown passes and scored on a 2-point conversion Friday.

Ian Harmon, Edgewood bowling

Harmon was the third-best individual boys qualifier out of 202, reaching the state bracket with games of 279-234-223-224.

Nicholas Hernandez, Eau Gallie cross country

Hernandez won the District 7-3A boys individual cross country race with a time of 16:53.0 over 5,000 meters.

Javion Hilson, Cocoa football

Hilson recorded seven tackles with three sacks and four quarterback hurries in Friday's Barbecue Bowl win.

Shayaan Kim, Viera golf

Kim shot 69 over 18 holes at The Legends of Orange Lake in Kissimmee and placed third in the Region 2-3A tournament to qualify for the state tournament.

Nate Lopez, Titusville football

Lopez recorded 14 tackles with a sack in Friday's win. He also rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown.

Izzy Starck, Viera volleyball

Starck led the team with 31 kills, 17 assists and 25 digs in the Region 2-6A final win over Oviedo.

Emily Street, Space Coast bowling

Street was the FHSAA state girls individual runner-up, winning six of eight bracket matches after qualifying sixth among 220 girls.

Tay Welch, Eau Gallie football

Welch rushed eight times for 208 yards and a touchdown on Friday in the Week 11 win over Melbourne.

Brooke Yates, Merritt Island cross country

Yates won the District 7-3A 5,000-meter girls individual cross country race with a time of 18:53.1.

Zhibo Zhang, Holy Trinity golf

Zhang shot an 18-hole round of 71 in the Region 2-1A tournament at Hawkstone Golf & Country Club to qualify for the state tournament.
