It's time to make your choice for the Austin-area boys high school athlete of the week for Feb. 26 through March 2. McCallum soccer player Austin Gourrier was voted the top boys athlete for the week of Feb. 19-24.

This week's list includes four soccer players and one basketball player.

Griffin Crawley, Bowie soccer

Crawley scored an astounding four goals in a 5-0 win over Akins on March 2.

Tito Don Juan, Glenn soccer

Don Juan recorded a hat trick as the Grizzlies defeated Cedar Park 3-0 on March 1.

Davaughn Hueitt, Stony Point basketball

Hueitt made perhaps the shot of the year for the Austin area: a 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat San Antonio Brennan 69-68 in the Class 6A regional semifinals; the Tigers went on to advance to this week's UIL state tournament.

J Mossholder, Vista Ridge soccer

Mossholder recorded a hat trick in the Rangers' 4-2 win over Manor on March 1 and scored another goal in a 5-3 win over Stony Point on Feb. 27.

Martin Valdes, Georgetown soccer

Valdes tallied four goals during the week in a 3-1 win over Hendrickson on Feb. 27 and a 7-0 win over Cedar Creek on March 1.
