It's time to take a look at the standout performers from Section V.

Your vote will determine who will be the Advantage Federal Credit Union's Girls Sports Athlete of the Week for Dec. 11-17. The players' credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 8 p.m. Tuesday. The winner will be announced on our Instagram page Wednesday morning.

All athletes who play on Section V girls teams are eligible to be nominated.

Jayla Bell

Last year’s All-Greater Rochester selection from Lyons filled the stat sheet this week. Bell totaled 50 points, 22 rebounds, 16 steals and 13 assists in blowout wins over Clyde-Savannah and Red Creek.

Desilets Dubois

Brockport senior easily beat the standard for the indoor track state meet in the 1,500-meter race walk with a time of 7 minutes, 10.66 seconds during a meet at Nazareth University.

Sadie Erb

The Canandaigua bowling star led the team to a 5-0 win over Irondequoit with a 208 high-game and 605 high-series.

Corintia Griffith

Webster Schroeder senior long jumped 18 feet and three-quarters of an inch, well past the standard for the indoor track state meet. She emerged as the winner at Nazareth University in a contest where the runner-up surpassed the state meet standard of 17-2, and the third-place athlete was 2 inches short.

Kaylee Marvin

The Gananda senior was credited with her 1,000th career rebound in the Blue Panthers’ win over Red Creek on Monday. Marvin is only the second player in school history to record 1,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

Jessica Nappi

Nappi, a sophomore on the Webster Lakers girls hockey team, scored the program's first-ever goal in the first period of Wednesday's season opener against Section IV's Ithaca.

Nevaeh Ross

The Friendship/Scio senior scored her 1,000th career point as part of a triple-double in a win over Bolivar Richburg. Ross finished with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 steals.

Marykate Rudnicki

Fairport senior, a sprinter on the school's indoor track team, sped to the standard time for the state meet in the 55-meter dash for the second consecutive week. Her time of 7.38 seconds at Nazareth University, good for second-place in the event, is also a school record.

Jayda Solomon

Spencerport junior won the 55-meter dash in 7.25 seconds, a time much faster than the standard for the indoor track state meet, and the 300 dash during a meet at Nazareth University.
