Vols’ target DeSean Bishop ends historic season
Karns High School (Tennessee) junior running back DeSean Bishop became only the fifth running back to eclipse 3,000 rushing yards in a single season.
Karns lost to top-seeded Rhea County, 63-48, in the second round of the Tennessee Class 5A playoffs.
The 5-foot-10, 188-pound Bishop totaled six touchdowns in against Rhea County (four rushing, two receiving and one passing) as his 2021 season came to an end.
Tennessee offered the 2023 prospect on June 6. He was offered by the Vols following his performance during a football camp at UT.
