Vikings release inactives: Jaren Hall to backup Kirk Cousins

The Minnesota Vikings have released their inactive list for Sunday afternoon’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cine and Mullens were both dealing with injuries and practiced in a limited capacity all week. Mullens not being active means that Jaren Hall will be the backup quarterback for the first time.

Muse hasn’t been active all season and as the fourth tight end, that makes some sense.

Carter was active the last two games, but with a healthy Marcus Davenport, his absence makes sense.

Adeniji was a late add to the roster and is there for depth purposes.

Tonga’s absence is still a surprise with how thin the defensive line is. Is he not practicing well? Does he not fit what Brian Flores is asking for? It’s a very curious decision week after week.
