AARON RODGERS: Yeah, I felt good in just a few days. I didn't have any lingering effects, other than COVID toe.

JARED QUAY: Happy Thanksgiving, y'all. 2021 has been another tough year, though.

- Tell me about it.

JARED QUAY: But I have a lot to be thankful for, like the fact we're watching a bunch of football today.

- Lions, baby.

JARED QUAY: And hey! Since they're playing the Bears, the Lions might actually get their first win of the season.

- So you're telling me there's a chance.

JARED QUAY: The main reason why football is even being played this year is--

- Because of science.

JARED QUAY: Thank you to scientists who spent their adult lives wearing lab coats and goggles and their noses in Petri dishes so that we can have a vaccine to protect us against COVID. Please know that I appreciate you enough to cover me and people out there who might not acknowledge what you're doing for the world. You know, the ones who refuse to get vaccinated. [LAUGHS] Hey, Rodgers! Take the shot, man.

- Do you have COVID toe?

AARON RODGERS: I'm glad you asked. Just so I could show you the lesions on my foot here, [? Rob. ?] So if I have enough room on this camera, let me see if I can-- oh. Oh, there's no lesions whatsoever.

- [LAUGHS]

AARON RODGERS: Oh, what a surprise. No, that's actually called disinformation, when you perpetuate false information about an individual.

JARED QUAY: Oh, you mean disinformation like this from Tuesday.

AARON RODGERS: Yeah, I felt good in just a few days. I didn't have any lingering effects, other than the COVID toe.

JARED QUAY: Let me get this straight. Aaron Rodgers said publicly that he had COVID toe, then got mad at media outlets for writing stories about COVID toe and called it disinformation.

- Just don't make no damn sense.

JARED QUAY: Now Rodgers says his toe is fractured. And you know what? I believe him. You probably broke it tripping over all them lies, Rodgers.

- Sick burn.

JARED QUAY: We ain't going to forget. We got receipts. You know what? I don't want to spend Thanksgiving roasting people. I want to boast some people, folks from the sports world who are doing things the right way, like Hawks star Trae Young's Family Foundation, which does all kinds of great work from mental health awareness to donating money to the Atlanta Mission so they can feed people over the holidays.

Here's Michigan's running back Blake Corum using his NIL money to buy and distribute turkeys for the community. And here is Spark baller Te'a Cooper teaching a dance workshop for kids in LA, making memories these boys and girls will never forget.
