NICK BROMBERG: Welcome to Yahoo Sportsbook Daily. It is Wednesday November 24, 2021. And I am your betting guide, Nick Bromberg. Let's get started. It is the final week of the regular season in 2021 in college football. It's been a wild and quick ride to get here. Let's start with Thanksgiving night. The Egg Bowl. Ole Miss at Mississippi State, 7:30 Eastern on ESPN, if you're not interested in the NFL. Mississippi State favored by one, total in this game 61 and 1/2. State's getting the money. 70% of the cash is on Mississippi State, despite the Bulldogs only getting 30% of the bets so far.
Ole Miss, 6, 4, and 1 against the spread. Rebels games have gone over just three times out of 11 this year. Mississippi State is 7 and 4 against the spread, six overs and 11 games. I like Ole Miss plus 1. Did you know that Ole Miss has never had a 10 win regular season? A win Thursday night gets the Rebels their first ever. The big game Saturday, noon Eastern on Fox, Ohio State Michigan, Buckeyes. Favored by 8 and 1/2. Total here, 64 and 1/2. Ohio State getting the bets, getting the money. 80% of both on the Buckeyes.
Ohio State, 6, 4, and 1 against the spread, 6 and 5 on the total gone over six times. Michigan, 9 and 2 against the spread. 5 and 6 against the total. I don't know what to think about this game when it comes to the number. I feel like Michigan's time covering could be up. I'm sticking with the total here, under. 64 and 1/2. 3:30 Eastern on CBS, an Iron Bowl that could get crazy simply because it is at Auburn. Alabama favored by 19 and 1/2 points.
Total here's just 55 and 1/2. 60% of bets, 70% of the handle is on Alabama. Alabama is 6 and 5 against the spread and 6 and 5 against the total. Auburn, 5 and 6 against the spread also 5 and 6 against the total. I'm taking over 55 and 1/2 here. I don't know if all those points are going to be from Alabama. I'm not sure how much I trust Auburn's offense at the moment without Bo Nix. But like I said, things could get weird, over 55 and 1/2.
Same time on ABC, Penn State at Michigan State. Spartans favored by 1 and 1/2 coming off of that drubbing by Ohio State. Total in this one, 51 and 1/2. 60% of bets and 70% of the money is on Penn State. Nittany Lions are 7 and 4 against the spread this year, just two Penn State games have gone over. Nine under so far, the Nittany Lions. You're making a lot of money if you've gone under all season.
Michigan State 7, 2, and 2 against the spread. 6 and 5 against the total. I think I like the Spartans to cover here. Penn State's passing offense not nearly as potent as Ohio State's. Sean Clifford's a little banged up. I'll take Michigan State to win a close one but get the cover. And then our nightcap, 7:30 PM, Eastern, ABC Bedlam. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State. Cowboys are at home. They are favored by 4. Total in this game, 50 and 1/2. 50% of bets, 70% of money is on Oklahoma State to cover.
Sooners are 5 and 6 against the spread, six overs, five unders this year. Oklahoma State, 9 and 2 against the spread. Three overs, seven unders, one push. I think I'm going to go over 50 and 1/2. Oklahoma State games have been really low scoring lately. But this seems like too low of a number to take the under on. I'm going over 50 and 1/2. I think this game could end up going down to the wire.
And as far as Wednesday goes, we have some Champions League action. So if you want to get some action on Wednesday, hit it this morning. Under 2 and 1/2 goals in Man City versus PSG. That's plus 125. And under 2 and 1/2 goals at Atletico Madrid versus AC Milan. That's minus 105. So again, for today, go under 2 and 1/2 goals in both Atletico Madrid versus AC Milan, Manchester City versus PSG.
And for the weekend, Thursday night, take Ole Miss plus 1 at Mississippi State under 64 and 1/2 in the game between Ohio State and Michigan, over 55 and 1/2 in the Iron Bowl Alabama at Auburn, Michigan State minus 1.5 hosting Penn State. And let's be bold and go over 50.5 in Bedlam, Oklahoma at Oklahoma State.
