MINTY BETS: Welcome to Mad Bets, everyone. We're talking the NFL divisional round for Sunday. Sunday kicks off with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Cleveland Browns. The Chiefs are a 10-point favorite, and the total is set at a high 55 and 1/2. Matt, let's start with you.

MATT GOTHARD: You know, this is one of those games that I look at, and I think about the history of my betting. And I love the Chiefs. They're fun. I like Travis Kelce. I like Patrick Mahomes. But it's been two months since they've covered the spread, and I say this to you-- not again.

I will not be getting burned again, laying a massive amount of points to the Chiefs. I'm taking the 10 with the Browns. The Browns are off one of the biggest wins of their entire like 20 years as being the Browns here. And I am all in. And when I say all in, I mean like a very small bet is going on the Browns, plus 10 against the Chiefs.

JARED QUAY: All right, there's rules in this game, man. And one of the number one rules is you don't bet against Andy Reid off of a bye. I stick by my principles there. That, plus the fact that let's not overrate these Browns, all right?

Yes, they beat the Steelers, but I told you about the Steelers a couple weeks ago. They're not a very great team, all right? You add that, plus the fact that the Browns have a bad defense and a good offense.

But if we're going offense for offense with the Chiefs versus the Browns, you think that when the Chiefs are up 21 points, and the Browns are still trying to run the ball, it's not going to get ugly? Andy Reid's not taking his foot off the gas this one.

They almost lost last game. They were down 24 points last year their first home game. They're going to come out on fire. I'm taking the first half, and I'm doubling down second half. Chiefs are going to blow out the Browns.

MINTY BETS: I also like the Chiefs minus 10 here. Maybe not as passionate as Jared, but I'm not quite convinced on this Browns team yet. They beat the Cowboys. They beat the Giants, the Eagles, the Bengals, the Jags, the fraud Steelers team. And also they won against Tennessee by a score, and they lost to the Jets.

Now I know the Chiefs aren't great at covering very large spreads. And I do think 10 was initially high, but I think it's just right. They're 2 and 4 against the spread this season when favored by 10 or more points. But I will lay the 10 points with the Chiefs here, because, as Jared said, Andy Reid off a bye is dangerous.

For Sunday night, we've got the New Orleans Saints hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Saints-- minus 3 and 1/2, total of 51 and 1/2. Jared, let's start with you.

JARED QUAY: All right, yeah. By now you're watching this clip. You've seen the fact that, damn, this guy called the last three games, and he was right. So you're like, I really want to put my money on this one.

And I'm going to say don't right now, OK? Because I'm not sure about this one. I obviously think that Brady versus Rodgers would be a marquee NFC Championship match-up. So I think that the NFL may help. You know, I'm a conspiracy theorist a little bit.

But also, I think that you can't beat a team three times. It's extremely hard to beat a team three times in a season. The Saints blew out the Bucs two times. So I think the Bucs are going to have a better game plan and know more of what the Saints want to do. So just give me the Bucs, with the points though. I'm not going to take a money line. Give me the points.

MINTY BETS: All right. I don't like that pick at all. Matt, how about you?

MATT GOTHARD: I mean, I like Jared's thoughts that you can't beat a team twice. But the Saints didn't beat the Bucs twice. The second time, we can't call that beat. That was an absolute murder session. I mean, they destroyed them. They honestly couldn't even be in the NFL after that loss in some people's minds.

So I like the Saints and the 3 and 1/2 maybe by the hook. They seem to be the much better team. I don't know if the Bucs can hang with them. They have a lot of good names on the Bucs. But I don't think they can compete with your Saints, Minty.

MINTY BETS: I also like the Saints minus 3 and 1/2. Now the Saints, of course, we know, like you guys have said, have beat the Bucs twice already this season. I totally think they can win and cover a third time.

Now Tampa Bay is playing better football than they did earlier in the season. They've got a chip on their shoulder. But I like the home team here because the Saints are playing really great defense. So give me the Saints minus 3 and 1/2.
