Yahoo Sports’ lead draft analyst Eric Edholm shares his evaluation of the Utah linebacker.

[MUSIC PLAYING] ERIC EDHOLM: All right, let's break down one of the best off-the-ball linebackers in the draft. That would be Utah's Devin Lloyd, a really fun player to evaluate. On the upside, he had a tremendous 2021 season, impacting games as a run-stopper, as a blitzer, and in coverage. He's a true three-down linebacker, with range, athleticism, instincts, all best suited for the NFL. On the downside, Lloyd's tackling inconsistencies remain a problem until further notice. He's also not a truly elite athlete for the position. And there are times when you could see him thinking and not reacting when plays are happening in front of him.
