- It looks like Julio Rodriguez is starting to find his footing in the majors. The universal top prospect for the Mariners has struggled in his first action in the bigs but is officially looking the part after a four for four outing on Sunday with a homer two runs and two RBIs against the Mets. His average jumped up to 264 to go along with two home runs, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Since the start of May, Rodriguez has been excellent, slashing 346 393 519 with two homers, seven RBIs, five runs scored and a stolen base across 14 games.

His stolen base totals have dropped this month as he led all players with nine swipes in April. But with a sprint speed in the 90th percentile, he should easily eclipse the 30 stolen base threshold by season's end. Managers who stuck with the 21-year-old through his growing pains are in line for possible five category production over the rest of the season as Rodriguez grows more comfortable in the box and begins to realize his power stroke. The buy low window is rapidly closing for the rookie, so try to acquire him now.
