Go to BetMGM.com/Yahoo. Our first game on the slate is the Philadelphia 76ers traveling to Atlanta to take on the Hawks. The Sixers are still favorites at 1.5 with the over/under set to 224.5.
The total is gone over in four of Philadelphia's last five games, and the total has gone under in eight of Atlanta's last 10 games. What I'm looking forward to in this game is home court advantage. Atlanta played amazing at home in their first series. I think that energy continues as Trae Young starts hitting 3's, Bogdanovic hits 3's. Next to you know, the whole team is scoring 130 points. I do think the over is likely too, but I really like the Atlanta Hawks to win.
On to the West Coast we go where the Phoenix Suns are traveling to Denver to take on the Nuggets. The Nuggets are favored about 1.5 with the over/under set to 222.5. The total has gone over in 12 of Phoenix's last 18 games, and the total has gone over in six of Denver's last eight games against Phoenix. The Suns have looked unstoppable, winning their first two games convincingly, but I still think Denver is not going to get swept.
And I think they're going to win their first game at home. I like Jokic and the Denver offense to get a lot of foul calls and really slow down the game, putting it to the paint.
