PAM MALDONADO: Hey, Yahoo Sportsbook, I've got a question for you, which player will win the 2022 Heisman? I'm Pam Maldonado, and I've got an answer. DJ Uiagalelei, 25 to 1. The Clemson quarterback holds a similar statistical profile to that of second favorite and USC quarterback Caleb Williams. That includes 11 touchdowns, one interception. Uiagalelei, however, has rushed for nearly 250 yards this season after rushing for just 300 last year. And we still have seven games left on schedule.

If I'm looking to a player to win as a Heisman candidate, then I am looking to its team if it can make the playoff. Could Clemson make the college football playoff? Absolutely, because Clemson has already faced two of its tougher opponents in Wake Forest and NC State, both of them, behind them, locking up two wins.

So looking at other Heisman candidates, the current favorite Ohio State's CJ Stroud had a less than a desirable stat performance against Rutgers. Only 150 passing, 59% completion, two touchdowns, one interception. Alabama's Bryce Young dealing with an injury to his throwing shoulder. And Tennessee's Hendon Hooker has played a cupcake schedule against two Mac teams. Still has left on schedule, Alabama and Georgia.

Certainly, other options could gain momentum like Michigan's running back in Blake Corum. He comes more into play if Jim Harbaugh can go back to back in defeating Ohio State in the final game of the season. But grabbing DJ at 25 to 1 and now with his toughest games already behind him screams of value, as his odds are sure to drop from now until the end of the season. Clemson is currently undefeated, could absolutely stay that way. And DJ Uiagalelei at 25 to 1 is a solid sleeper.
