Note: Fairfax led 21-7 at halftime and then sealed the game on Salls' third TD in the fourth quarter.

Note: Essex opened a 21-7 halftime lead and pushed the advantage to 35-13 at the start of the fourth quarter to squash Rutland's undefeated season. Essex reaches the D-I final for the first time since 2009.

Note: Destito connected with Sumner on fourth-and-4 for the game-tying touchdown and Oliver Pudvar nailed the extra point to break the tie. Hartford's 43-yard field-goal attempt in the closing seconds was blocked.

Note: Undefeated Bellows Falls, which led 21-0 at halftime, reaches its fifth D-II title game in six years.

Note: Mount Anthony ran about 8 minutes of clock on the game's opening possession, with Bushee punching it in from 5 yards out. Bushee also found Billert for a 10-yard TD connection for a 14-0 halftime lead. ... Mount Anthony advances to the program's first title game since 1994.
