UND men's basketball ranks fifth in Summit League preseason poll
Oct. 10—GRAND FORKS — B.J. Omot was named to the preseason All-Summit League second team Tuesday.
The sophomore forward was named to the team after averaging 12 points per game for UND in his first season. Omot also blocked 31 shots in 33 games last season.
UND men's basketball was picked to finish fifth in the Summit League. That puts them behind South Dakota State, Oral Roberts, North Dakota State and St. Thomas.
The Hawks open the season with an exhibition against Northland College Nov. 1. UND's first regular season action is Nov. 7 at Iowa.
