UNC football vs. Minnesota Recap: Tar Heels take care of business in Chapel Hill

UNC football will host Minnesota at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in a game that will be televised on ESPN.

The 20th-ranked Tar Heels (2-0) and Golden Gophers (2-0) are playing for the first time, but UNC has a winning record against Big Ten opponents. The Heels beat South Carolina in Week 1 before avoiding an upset last week with a victory against App State in the home opener.

Running back Omarion Hampton had a career-best performance against the Mountaineers and quarterback Drake Maye continued to make clutch plays when UNC needed him most.
