UGA football offers pair of 2025 prospects

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered scholarships to a pair of class of 2025 recruits. Both are rising sophomores in high school and are unranked due to their young ages.

The Dawgs extended an offer to defensive line recruit Armondo Blount on May 23. Blount plays high school football for Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive linemen is an excellent student with over 20 scholarship offers. Blount’s scholarship offers include Oregon, Oklahoma, Missouri, Penn State and Tennessee.

Blount is strong and also participates in track and field. As a freshman, Blount is already putting up impressive numbers in shot put.

Blount played the 2021 high school football season alongside four-star Miami signee Nyjalik Kelly. Additionally, per 247Sports, Blount recorded 13 sacks as a true freshman.

Georgia football also offered class of 2025 recruit Blake Woodby. The Bulldogs offered Woodby on May 25.

Woodby is a talented cornerback prospect, who plays football for St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. St. Frances is one of the top high school football programs in the country. Georgia linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson played at St. Frances.

Woodby already has scholarship offers from college football programs including USC, Penn State, Kentucky, Temple, West Virginia and Virginia Tech. Woodby also runs track. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back has excellent speed.
