What is Jacksonville's UFC history?

Jacksonville has previously held two UFC Fight Nights and three numbered UFC pay-per-view events.

Those included UFC 249, which restarted the American sports scene in May 2020 after nearly two months on hold due to restrictions stemming from the coronavirus pandemic; UFC 261 in April 2021, the first major full-capacity indoor sporting event since the pandemic's onset; and UFC 273 in April 2022, highlighted by championships for Alexander Volkanovski and Aljamain Sterling. The two UFC Fight Nights took place during the week immediately after UFC 249 in 2020.

Tickets for past UFC events in Jacksonville have sold quickly. At UFC 261, UFC president Dana White declared a sell-out at 11:44 a.m. on the morning sales opened, a span of just over an hour and a half.
