UCLA's Ryan Garcia earns Pac-12 Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors following stifling performance on the mound

UCLA's Ryan Garcia is named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week after allowing just one hit and retiring 21 of the final 22 batters he faced, including 11 straight to end his outing, in a 3-1 win over Arizona to clinch the three-game sweep. While not getting the decision, he pitched a career-high 7.1 innings and was one shy of a career-best with eight strikeouts. The right-handed pitcher contained a dangerous Wildcat offense, which has the second-most runs (227) and fourth-best on base percentage (0.429) in the country. The junior boasts a 1.20 ERA over 15.0 innings with 19 strikeouts on the year.
