Twitter reacts to Patrick Mahomes-esque throw by Drake Maye
Through the first five weeks of the season, UNC football quarterback Drake Maye has impressed not only Tar Heels’ fans but the national media as well.
With UNC facing Miami in a big ACC coastal division showdown, Maye is bringing his A-game early on. He has two touchdown passes in the first half and has been on the money with his throws.
That includes an impressive touchdown pass to Josh Downs as he was getting hit, floating it up there for his receiver to grab and then make a play. It was a Patrick Mahomes-esque throw per the announcers:
