The Lady Vols run-ruled Virginia Tech after five innings. The Hokies recorded one hit in the contest, while Tennessee finished recorded 10.
Ashley Rogers started for Tennessee and pitched four innings, recording six strikeouts. She totaled 63 pitches, including 43 strikes, against 14 batters.
Karlyn Pickens pitched one inning for the Lady Vols against three batters.
