Here are Tuesday's high school sports results for the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac area

SOFTBALL

Division 1

Menasha 6, Fond du Lac 3

MENASHA - Eve Rausch doubled to drive in a run and tie the game in the fifth for the Bluejays, then Addie Lund hit a three-run home run to provide the difference-maker in the regional semifinal.

Karly Helf led off and went 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored for Menasha. Rausch and Lund both finished 1-for-2 with a run scored and Lund also walked.

Ava Vermillion went 2-for-3 with a double, two stolen bases and a run scored to lead the Cardinals at the plate. Autumn Friesmuth also doubled, stole a base and scored to go with a walk in two at-bats. Mackenna Shultis collected the lone RBI for Fondy.

Kylie Van De Loo started in the circle for the Bluejays, allowing five hits, two walks and two runs with a strikeout over four innings. Teagan Massey-Plamann got the win in relief, coming into the game in the fifth to pitch the final three innings. Massey-Plamann allowed two hits and a run with one strikeout.

Susan Vokes took the loss for the Cardinals, surrendering five hits, a walk and all six runs (four earned) with four strikeouts in 4⅓ innings. Ally Osier came in for relief to tally four strikeouts and a walk over the final 1⅔ innings.

Division 3

Mayville 13, North Fond du Lac 4

MAYVILLE - The Cardinals led 6-4 going into the sixth inning before scoring seven runs to pull away for the regional semifinal win.

NFDL took a 4-3 lead after two innings. Kali Ziemer reached on a bunt single and Lauren Stettbacher took her first pitch over the center field fence for a two-run home run. Stettbacher and Lucy Schumacher both finished 2-for-4 to lead the Orioles.

Mayville scored a pair in the third on home runs by Addy Youngbeck and Hayden Schabel, and plated another in the fourth on an RBI single by Avah Feucht.

The Cardinals’ sixth inning rally was highlighted by a double from Harley Schabel and a home run by Hanna Wolf.

Youngbeck finished 3-for-4 with the homer and two RBIs and Hayden Schabel went 2-for-3 with the homer and two RBIs. Addie Anderson added two hits in four at-bats.

Allie Schwirtz earned the win for Mayville.

Leah Patterson took the loss for North Fondy.

Lomira 5, Laconia 2

LOMIRA - Trailing 2-1 in the third, the Lions erupted for three runs and added another in the fourth to earn the regional semifinal win.

Haleigh Caspary picked up the win in the circle, allowing two earned runs on five hits and three walks, while striking out 11.

Offensively, Lomira was paced by Trista Gassner, who was 2-for-4 with an RBI. Taylor Bloohm had a homer and Marie Steinman was 3-for-3 with two runs scored.

Dakya Kemnitz was 2-for-4 and Callista Vande Berg 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Laconia.

BASEBALL

Kimberly 10, Oshkosh West 3

KIMBERLY - The Papermakers banged out 14 hits, while Brayden Deering picked up the win on the mound in Fox Valley Association action.

With the win, the Papermakers clinched at least a share of the FVA title. They are 16-1 in the league and Hortonville is 15-2 with one game remaining for each.

Leading hitters for Kimberly (20-4 overall) were Evan Olson with two RBIs, Kale Twombly who was 3-for-4 with two RBIs, Brady Koester, who was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs, and Sawyer Deering, who was 2-for-3 with a double.

GIRLS SOCCER

Appleton East 2, Oshkosh West 1

OSHKOSH - Addison Wreath scored two goals for the Patriots in the win over the Wildcats.

Maddi Choinski scored for Oshkosh West in the loss.

Wildcats goalie Hannah Wolf made four saves.

Ripon 3, Freedom 1

FREEDOM - The Tigers scored two goals in the second half in the victory over the Irish.

Karsyn Bauman had two goals and an assist for Ripon.

Ripon goalie Hailee Scheier made six saves in goal.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy 8, Campbellsport 0

CAMPBELLSPORT - The Vikings hit the Cougars with seven goals in the first half and cruised to the win.

Ava Lorenz led Winnebago Lutheran Academy with three goals and two assists.

Leah Theisen had two goals and one assist for WLA while Alix Janke, Carley Lange and Lacey Keifenheim each scored one goal. Theisen also had an assist.

Lydia Bernhard had one save in goal for WLA.

Central Wisconsin Christian 4, Wayland Academy 0

WAUPUN - Lauren Ruis scored two goals and Jocelyn Servais added two assists to lead the Crusaders to the nonconference win.

Also scoring goals for CWC were Erin Ruis and Abigael Mbah, while Erin Ruis also had an assist.

CWC led 1-0 at the half.

St. Mary’s Springs 5, St. Mary Catholic 0

FOND DU LAC - The Ledgers got 2 goals rom Anna Willis and 2 from Mahri Putzer in the win over the Zephyrs.

Ava Huempfner also scored for St. Mary’s Springs.
