Tropf, Buxton, Ngetich, Lupshu named Stark County Cross Country Runners of the Week
Boys Division I runner of the week
Braden Tropf, North Canton Hoover, sr.
Tropf came in fifth overall in 15:52.75 at the Stark County Championships. He helped lead the Vikings to a runner-up finish in the race for the team title. Tropf was a regional qualifier in 2022.
Boys Division II-III runner of the week
Luke Buxton, East Canton, sr.
Buxton finished seventh among Division II-III runners at the Stark County Championships. He finished 24th overall in 16:44.16.
Girls Division I runner of the week
Sophia Ngetich, GlenOak, jr.
Ngetich finished in the top 10 and helped lead GlenOak to the Division I team title at the Stark County Championships. She has been instrumental as the Golden Eagles' No. 2 or 3 runner all season with multiple performances under 20:00.
Girls Division II-III runner of the week
Gabby Lupshu, Minerva, soph.
Lupshu helped lead the Lions to the girls team title at the Stark County Championships for the third straight year. She was Minerva's No. 2 runner and finished ninth overall in a personal-best 19:40.
